I leave a piece of my heart in all the places I visit, and in return I bring back mementos to help me cherish all the beautiful memories.

The kind weavers at the Mysore Silk Factory gave me this beautiful gold thread.

This treasure I now keep in a wooden box from Jaipur.

A print of ‘The Portrait of Madame Recaimer’, that I found whilst rummaging through an antique store in Mapusa, Goa.

Coral washed ashore by the crystal-clear waters of Sri Lanka’s Ahangama beach.

A delicious ginger drink that I sipped at Villa Halia, while taking in the verdant beauty of the Botanic Gardens, Singapore.

The beautiful glass bottle now sits atop my desk and takes me back to that wonderful, balmy, November afternoon.
Great keepsakes.

An object really becomes more special when there are memories connected to it, right! That drink looks really delicious too.
