My dear friend was visiting India for a short while and to make the most of her time here we embarked on a road trip to Mysore.

#1 Stopped for breakfast at Shivalli and was thrilled to find beautiful
bonsai at their nursery.

#2 Mesmerised by the art of making Mysore Silk Sarees, embellished with
pure gold at the KSIC factory.

#3 Delicious pizzas and great company(!) for an alfresco lunch at
the Old House, Jayalakshmipuram.

#4 Found beautiful, vintage postcards at Oriental Arts,
Jaganmohan Palace.

#5 A refreshing walk at the lush, expansive gardens of the
Lalith Mahal Palace.
